Catch ("the App") is built by Freddie Iboy. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Data Storage

All journal entries — text, photos, audio recordings, and drawings — are stored locally on your device. Your data is yours. We do not have access to your journal content.

What We Don't Collect

• We do not collect or store your journal entries on any server
• We do not track your location
• We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties
• We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs

Analytics

The App collects anonymous usage data to help us improve the experience. This includes which features you use (such as tool selections, card interactions, and screen views), but never the content of your journal entries. Each device is assigned a random identifier that is not linked to your identity or Apple ID. Analytics are processed by our own server — we do not share this data with third parties.

Optional Survey

The App may include an optional in-app survey to help us improve. If you choose to participate, your responses and basic usage statistics (total card count, card types) are submitted. This data is anonymized and not linked to your identity.

In-App Purchases

Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment information.

Data Export

You can export all your data at any time through the Backup & Restore feature in Settings. Your exported data stays on your device or wherever you choose to save it.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.

Use of the App

Catch is a personal journaling application. You may use it for any lawful purpose. You are responsible for all content you create within the App.

Your Data

You own all content you create in Catch. We do not claim any rights to your journal entries, photos, drawings, or recordings. Since data is stored locally on your device, you are responsible for maintaining backups.

In-App Purchases

Some features require a purchase. All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's terms. Refunds are handled by Apple.

Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any data loss, damages, or issues arising from the use of the App. We recommend using the built-in export feature to back up your data regularly.

Changes

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
